Founder, Director & President
Rayhan Mehal is a senior at The Bronx High School of Science and founded the Youth Medical Association to expand access to medical education for students worldwide. As Founder, Director, and President, he serves as the backbone of YMA operations, providing strategic oversight and day-to-day leadership across the organization.
Rayhan oversees all chapters, teams, and directors, ensuring alignment with YMA's mission and maintaining the quality and consistency of programs across 40+ chapters and four continents. He coordinates events, manages institutional relationships, facilitates communication between chapter leaders and staff, and drives program development and implementation. His work spans event planning, logistics, outreach, and event coordination with institutions, keeping YMA's global network running smoothly.
Through his leadership, YMA delivers mentorship, hospital visits, hands-on training, and career development opportunities to thousands of students pursuing careers in medicine, research, engineering, and related fields.
Director of Human Resources
Isha Agarwal serves as Director of Human Resources at YMA International and Chapter President of YMA India, where she leads strategic growth, leadership development, and national chapter operations. She has overseen large-scale fundraising initiatives, organized healthcare seminars in collaboration with medical professionals, and mobilized student volunteers across on-ground and virtual programs. Her work focuses on building structured, accountable, and mission-driven systems that strengthen youth-led impact in healthcare and community service. With a strong interest in healthcare research and organizational strategy, Isha is committed to developing sustainable leadership pipelines within global student networks.
Coordinator of International Affairs
Kimberly collaborates with chapter leaders to structure responsibilities and lead the coordination of research university tours and hospital volunteer programs worldwide. She is also responsible for guiding high school students to create their own YMA chapters in their respective countries, not only starting their chapters but also helping them build their social media presence to connect with other likeminded individuals on a global scale. Through her work as the Coordinator of International Affairs, Kimberly hopes to expand equitable access to education.
Director of Outreach
Muntha Zaman is a freshman at New York University and serves as Director of Outreach. She facilitates outreach operations across YMA's network, connecting with schools, communities, and institutions to expand awareness of YMA's programs. She helps coordinate events by managing logistics, communicating with institutional contacts and chapter leaders, and ensuring that outreach initiatives run smoothly. Her work supports YMA's growth and helps bring medical education opportunities to more students.
Director of Content Creation
Victor Li is a freshman at the University of Michigan and serves as Director of Content Creation. He plans weekly lessons for YMA meetings, develops educational materials on medical specialties and healthcare topics, and coordinates informational content for members across chapters. He works with the content team to ensure that presentations, handouts, and resources are accurate, engaging, and aligned with YMA's educational goals. His work supports members as they explore careers in medicine and related fields.

Coordinates chapters across different schools and regions. Supports chapter leaders, helps spread awareness about YMA's opportunities, and serves as local points of contact for interested students.
Manages international relationships and expansion efforts. Works to connect YMA with medical organizations and educational institutions worldwide to broaden our impact.
